KILE BATEMAN

Kile Bateman is the Senior Pastor of Evangel Church. Over the past 24 years at Evangel, his compassionate and visionary leadership has established a culture of unconditional love and acceptance, outreach, evangelism, and transformation. He is the founder of Phased In, a transitional living program for emancipated foster youth, and the director of Family First, a ministry of the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God, through which he passionately promotes adoption and foster care. As Vice-Chair of the Texas Nonprofit Council, he is involved in advising the state in faith-based and community initiatives. Pastor Kile is a gifted speaker. He knows how to honor, celebrate, challenge, and motivate people all at the same time. He is an encourager of other pastors, and has many spiritual “sons and daughters” in full-time ministry. Kile has been married to Patti for 32 years, and they have two amazing children, Luke and Naphtali; and five grandchildren Caiden, Ayzaria, Nylah, Mia, and Kay'Niyaa who are the joy of their lives.

PATTI BATEMAN

Patti Bateman is the Lead Pastor of Evangel. She is an authentic and inspiring servant leader with a true pastor’s heart. She is passionate about the presence of God and the power of prayer. She oversees the ministry teams of the church, and has directly led the worship ministry and women’s ministry for the past 24 years. Her ability to impart and cultivate leadership skills in those around her is incredible. She is an anointed teacher and preacher of the Word of God; and her burden for world missions and disaster relief has motivated her to lead serve teams all over the world. Patti has been married to Kile for 32 years. They are whole-hearted about adoption, not as the last option, but as the first choice. They have two amazing children, Luke and Naphtali; and five grandchildren, Caiden, Ayzaria, Nylah, Mia, and Kay'Niyaa who are just "everything".
